14 Days of Crafty Love – Day 13 // Altered Shadow Box Picture Frame

day-13

Hello Crafty Peeps,

Welcome back to day 13 of my 14 days of crafty love series 🙂 Today i have something slightly different to share with you. I have altered a boring, cheep, plain shadow box into a classy black and white shaker picture frame.

Here is some Pics;

I used the Black Hearts 8×8 paper pack from Papercakes by Serena Bee to create almost like a mini scrapbooking layout in the centre of the frame…layered with plain black & white card stock. In between the layers I added fun foam to give it some dimension.

I started off by painting the frame black with some acrylic paint and after creating my mini scrapbooking  layout I put it all back together…adding a few table scatter gems in. And then it was done…easy as that!

Here is the video if you would like to watch the process;

So that is all from me today…I would really love it if you re-create anything from this little mini series…could you please share the crafty love over on Instagram by tagging me or using the hashtag #14daysofcraftylove .

14 Days of Crafty Love – Day 12 // Valentine Ticket Stub Mini Album

DAY 12.jpg

Hello all you lovely crafty people…

I am back again with another instalment of my 14 Days of Crafty Love series and we are now onto day 12.

For today’s project I made a tiny little mini album from a design that is meant for a ticket stub favour book for valentines.

Here is some pic’s;

Tiny Valentine Ticket Stub Mini Album.jpg

It only measures about 2 and a half inches by 3 when it is closed.

This is a cut file from the Silhouette Design Studio and is meant to be a Valentine Ticket Book Card…where you can tear out the tickets. But i just used it as a little mini album to give to my other half as a gift.

I used pink and black card stock for the base of the album then decorated it with the papers and elements from the LOVE BITES collection from Papercakes by Serena Bee.

I have the process video here of how I put it together;
